My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

@borvestinkral After a bit of googling, it seems that you can export an XML file to use in your blogengine site (if you really like .net) but it’s totally up to you! Try working with your developer to get that going.

Great blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Kudos!

It’s all about your preference! We currently use WordPress for posting on reallygoodpopups, but i’ve heard other marketers have a lot of success on Medium. What type of website are you trying to create?
